  1. Title: How does 110k per month = dead at 55k

    We purchased six of these printers for our college departments based on the advice of our store and the toner consumption figures but now find that's only half the story. One cluster is at 55k total output and has burned through a fuser (on warantee) and now a belt system (called a "consumable" at $379 - ouch). The others are all seeing the costs escalate with the drums coming up for replacement (surprise). Never happened with HP - going back starting with the 55k... Read more
