YP-P2 is an MP3 player by Samsung. It incorporates an array of functions including music, video, FM radio and portable file storage. YP-P2 comes with only one color which is black color.

Features

The dimension of YP-P2 is 52.0 x 100.0 x 9.9 mm (WxHxD). It weighs at 85.0g. YP-P2 has 3 types of memory capacities to choose from. They are 2GB, 4GB and 8GB. The type of memory is flash. YP-P2 has 3 inch TFT LCD display. Display resolution is WQVGA 480x272. This display is a touch sensitive display. YP-P2’s Graphical User Interface (GUI) is operated by the touch of fingertip. There are 3 different User Interface (UI) themes to choose from. For connectivity, YP-P2 uses Bluetooth 2.0. This connectivity allows wireless audio streaming and compatible headsets. For compatible headsets, YP-P2 can support 2 headsets at the same time. At one time, YP-P2 can support 3 listeners (2 wireless headsets and 1 wired headset). YP-P2 uses Samsung’s sound technology, which is Digital Natural Sound engine (DNSe) 2.0. User is able to get the sound quality from any genre of music with DNSe settings. The settings are 3D Sound, Bass Extension, Concert Hall, equalizer with Clarity enhancement. There is no embedded speaker on YP-P2. User is required to purchase it separately. However, YP-P2 is embedded with microphone. Besides, YP-P2 is incorporated with FM Radio. User is able to use YP-P2 as picture and text viewer. YP-P2 has battery where its lifetime is 35 hours of audio playback or 5 hours of video playback. The formats that YP-P2 can support are MP3, WMA, OGG(UMS only), JPEG, SVI, WMV, TXT.

Accessories

YP-P2 has a Mobile Bluetooth Speaker. This is a speaker with 2W sound output. It is optional accessory and not included in YP-P2’s package.
