Zen X-Fi’s capacity can be either 16GB or 32 GB. It has 3.3 x 2.2 x 0.5 inch (WxHxD) of dimension. It weighs at 2.4 ounces. For display, Zen X-Fi has 2.5 inch of LCD display with 16.7 million colors and 320 x 240 pixels of resolutions. For 16GB capacity, Zen X-Fi can store 4,000 songs or 60 hours of video. Meanwhile, for 32GB capacity, Zen X-Fi can store 8,000 songs or 120 hours of video. Zen X-Fi uses Li-ion battery that has lifetime of 36 hours of continuous audio playback, 13 hours of continuous audio playback with speaker, 20 hours of continuous FM radio playback, 5 hours of continuous video playback or 4 hours of video playback with speaker. Zen X-Fi has 32 presets stations. The video formats that can be supported by Zen X-Fi are MJPEG, WMV, MPEG-4 including properly encoded DivX and XviD. Zen X-Fi is included with software that can transcode other formats providing the appropriate codecs are installed. Furthermore, the audio formats supported are MP3, WMA, AAC4, WAV (ADPCM) and Audible 2, 3 and 4. Zen X-Fi has wireless connectivity. Zen X-Fi uses IEEE8.0.11 b/g with WEP, WPA-PSK or WPA2-PSK security. With this wireless connectivity, user able to stream music, photos wirelessly from PC to Zen X-Fi within a home network. Other connectivity for Zen X-Fi is USB 2.0. There are 8 presets and 5 custom settings of EQ. With the X-Fi Xtreme Fidelity Audio technology, guitar strumming, crisp cymbal clashes and deep pounding bass can be restored beautifully. The built-in X-Fi technology also moves a conventional left/right earphone stereo source away from ears, virtually expanding it for an audio experience with a realistic depth of field.
