Additionally, it also incorporates Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar Lens which offers high resolution, high contrast and outstanding colour reproduction while capturing true-to-life images, as well as up to 10x optical zoom and 80x digital zoom to bring you closer to your subject. Besides that, it also spots a large 2.7 inch High Quality WIDE Hybrid LCD Screen that allows you to view the full width of your subject easily as well as ensures clear images for easy viewing and framing on the LCD even in strong sunlight or when there is a lot of reflected light. In addition to that, it also has a Clear Photo LCD Plus that is a high resolution 2.5 inch display with a wide viewing angle, high contrast 230,000 pixel display with anti reflection coating that ensures excellent viewing even in bright sunlight. The screen can also detect automatically whether it is being held vertically or horizontally, and aligns the orientation to match. Additionally, the Sony DCR-DVD808/E also incorporates Super SteadyShot which is useful even if you can keep your hands steady as it utilizes motion sensors to smooth and steady your images without degrading the picture quality.
